Who We Are
Pat Cook has been working in the automotive industry for 35 years. His entrepreneurial spirit and desire to provide excellent service led him to start his own business 25 years ago. Over the last two decades, Pat Cook Automotive has operated out of Omemee, Lakefield and Peterborough.
Our tag line, “Only What You Need,” is what distinguishes us from the typical auto repair shop. We work hard to save you money, recognizing how valuable your time and your vehicle are to you. Before we go ahead and do any repairs, we take the time to explain so you understand the work and the cost of all repairs.
According to Pat, lots has changed with vehicles in the last few decades, since computers and diagnostic equipment have become such a large part of his job. “At the same time,” he says, “the basic engine has stayed the same, and the regular maintenance required has not changed that much.”
“As a Christian businessman, integrity is my highest priority”, says Pat. “We strive to make sure that you are satisfied when you leave your car in our care.”
Our Staff
Pat has been the owner of Pat Cook Automotive for the past 25 years. He has also been a licensed automotive technician in the automotive industry for 35 years.
Rob is one of our licensed automotive technicians. He has been with the company for many years. Rob has proven himself to be a very competent technician. In his spare time Rob likes four-wheeling and snowmobiling.
Dan is our newest addition at Pat Cook Automotive as an apprentice. Dan comes from a career in the telecommunications industry, but always had a hand in automotive. In his spare time he enjoys being with family, sports, and working with computers.
